What is the name of your state? I live in Georgia. We bought a piece of property on which to build our house. The adjacent property owner has a weekend cabin that has both public water and an abandoned drilled well. We need him to cap his well so that we can get our septic permit for construction. Is there a law that requires him to cap this well? He told the environmental division that be not cooperating he was hoping to have our land condemned. Is this legal?
