What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas

I would like to build a small retirement home on the same 14 acre piece of agricultural property which my daughter and son-in-law own and have their home on. This is with the total agreement of both of them. In order to protect me in the event that something happens to them and there is a problem with me remaining in my home because of new owners, I would like to have a lifetime lease on about two acres of that property.
Can a lease be drawn up by an attorney without their deed being affected or having to go through the Registry of Deeds?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

A: What you are proposing will affect the title to their real estate so it should be recorded in the land deed records of the county where the land is located.
