What is the name of your state? Texas
I have had a Licensed Surveyor cut 2 acres out of a 25 acre tract. I am to receive the 2 acres from my Father (Gift Deed, I believe). I looked through the Legal Forms, but could not locate one that covered my needs. Can I write my own deed or am I required to have an Attorney do this? Any answers or directions would be appreciated. Thank you.

You don't HAVE to use an attorney but it would help. He can advise you also on getting the deed recorded after your father signs it over to you. Small price to pay for peace of mind.
