What is the name of your state? New Jersey

My neighbor wasn't home and some kids decided to skateboard off his front steps. Does anyone know if the homeowner is held liable for any injuries ?.

If the kids are minors, can the parents be held responsible ?

Thanks

Nope, the skateboarders were trespassing.

Responsible for what? Damage they cause to your neighbors property. Yes. Hurting themselves? Yes.
