My former employer of a check cashing and payday loan company that I managed for over two years has filed charges aginst me. The state of Washington says that I filed out payday loan applications and recieved money from 3 loans for a total of $1145. This would have taken place in 2003, I never did that. But we are not allowed to copy customer ID or have a way of verifying their SS#'s, It clrealy shows that the writing on the applications is not mine. I have been assigned a public defender, my trail date is in 3 weeks, BUT I have yet to actually meet my lawer because of health issues on his part or something to that effect, so for my bail hearing, pre-trail conference and my omnibus hearing I have had re-placement lawyers, none of which being the same person. I need an attorney that can listen to what I am saying and is going to help me, not a new one each time that I have to re-explain my case to. Can I ask for a mis-trail? Or handwriting specialist? What happens if there is a mis-trial?
