Retail Startup legal fees.

I am doing research for starting a small, sole proprietor, retail sporting goods store in downtown Berkeley, California. I was wondering what are some of the inital startup fees from a legal standpoint (eg. Licenses, permits, etc...)as well as monthly legal fees.

Go to the library, get a few books and write up a preliminary business plan, then go see a CPA then write a solid business plan, go see the CPA agan, then a lawyer.
