need help on what to do

What is the name of your state? kentucky
i am married and i have a daughter who is almost 2. my husband wants to adopot her but i don't know who her father is. so is there any way that he can still adopt her. the state is wanting the collect child support for her but like i said i do not know who her father is. so what do i do?

Consult with a family law attorney that is also experience in adoptions.

In most states the adoption can go through but if in the future the biological father is identified he can have the adoption overturned if he can prove he did not know he had a child. Use an attorney and there will be less of a chance of this happening b/c they know the law and how eveything needs to be handled/worded.
