I need to know just ONE thing....BUT I must know where I can find it IN WRITING.
Is it not true that you can put anyone's name on a deed?
Example: your dog, a young child, a cartoon character?
This is NOT mortgaged property.

Generally the OWNER of the property is on the deed. In order to convey the deed, at some point in time, the person "selling" must be of sound mind, have a legal existence, and be of lawful age. A deed naming the grantee as a fictitious person, (a cartoon charactor or pet) is considered void.
