I am the only person on the lease. I let a new roommate move in. He said he would write a check, then proceeded to pretend he cannot find his checkbook. I want him to leave. Should I put his stuff out on the street and change the locks? He has some martial arts weapons in his room which is making me afraid of him. What should I do?

Tell weedhopper to move out now. If he refuses call the police and file a trespassing report.
