We have purchased a piece of Florida property from an estate. The executor does not have the deed. Can we still transfer the deed to us without having the actual deed? We and the executor live in Ohio.

Yes, there is a way to petition for a replacement duplicate deed in the event the original is lost. Normally in your case, the executor would sign a new Quit Claim Deed anyway.
