What is the name of your state? MA

I got a ticket for 72 mph on a 55 mph zone in Niagara (NY) County. It was an empty road with no traffic. This is the first time, I ever have been stopped for over 3 years.Following are my question for which i seek advice.

1. I am a boston resident and it would be difficult for me to take time off for the court. If i plead guilty, any idea of the approx fine?

2. Will it effect my insurance in MA?
3. Is it worth to go to the court, based on question (1) and (2).

I was defintely over 55, but was safe and may not be 70+ as in the ticket. I did not immediately observe the speedometer though.

Should the cop given me a warning instead of a ticket?

Thanks
