i was wondering our lease ends dec1 2000 and we had signed a lease that starts dec1 2000 can we still be held liable for that lease if it hasnt started. My problem is that my husbands father has became very ill and we have to move back to west virginia to help care for him and i tried to call and talk to our landlord so i was wondering if we sent her a 30 day notice that we are leaving what can happen
