I have been battleing with my homeowners association for 3 years (have documented every call!) over the fact that my unit was sinking due to improperly channeled water run-off. Finnally afer threating to speak to an attorney, they have corrected the problem and re-secured the foundation. Now, the entire condo is riddled with structural cracks (ceiling is falling down in two rooms) from not only the original problem, but the foundation repair. Who is responsible for the interior damage? I have had a plaster repair specialist give an estimate to repair, but the home owners association refuses to pay. Help!

You would need an attorney to review the applicable condo docs and also the, HOA insurance policy, construction warranties if any, etc. There maybe a clause in the documentation re: actual damages vs. consequential damages.
