need advice PLEASE

WE rented our condo to a tenant in Salt Lake City, Utah. He signed a month to month rental agreement which ended December 31,2000 . He bounced Octobers rent check, disconnected his phone and took off. We have changed the locks, but the condo is a mess! I need to know what I'm intitled to and how to file a lawsuit. PLEASE HELP!!

If T can be located and has a job, it may be worth it to go after him/her since you must hire an attorny in Utah. Otherwise eat the loss and move on.
