My daughter and a friend were speeding and they were clocked going 50MPH in a 35 MPH zone. The cop was going east and they were going west. He claims that they were both going 50 MHP ( that is how the tickets were wrote up). Is it possible for the radar to get both girls going the same speed (even though one car was in the other lane and was in front of the car - the two cars were not even in the road)? He wrote them up for drag racing. I would like to know if we should just plead not guilty and try to plea bargain - or what options do I have. Also, should we try to do this ourselves or would we be better with a lawyer?
