A couple of us are thinking of opening a video arcade/teen hangout in our town. We are thinking of doing this as an outreach-but not necessarily part of our church... there just isn't anything for the kids to do - we don't want this as a "business for profit" per se but rather if the expenses can get covered that would be great. If not we were thinking about donations from people to cover them-We would not take a salary or anything- the adults would be there on a volunteer basis to oversee the kids and interact with them.
I have never opened a business before and would love to get some sites or literature on what and how to go about this... your comments and suggestions are appreciated as well...Thanks so much-M
