i am adopting a non related child. my doctor says i have to disclose my hepatitis c. do i have to? can they use it against me? wouldnt that be discrimination? do i tell investigator beforehand? help!

Yes you have to...

We are also trying to adopt..I have a Chronic Illness called Sarcoidosis...it is imperative that all health issues be addressed.

Also - this is part of the homestudy which you will no doubt have to complete.

Why would you doubt your doctor? Do you understand the health implications of Hep C on your future and interactions with others? That will be taken into consideration in adoption procedings.
