What is the name of your state? NJ

I was supposedly caught on radar by a traffic officer using radar in his car from someone's driveway. Is this legal?

He, then pulled me over pulling in a parking lot that I had pulled into. Is this legal? He claimed I was doing 62 in a 40 which I honestly don't believe I was.

I was very respectful and he didn't even give me a break.

Yes, he can run radar from a private driveway (unless NJ is out of step with the rest of the country). His presence in the driveway is an issue for the property owner and not the person stopped.

If you do not believe you committed the violation, then you will have a chance to argue the matter in court.
