I was sited for a wreckless opperation at my friends house. He claimed i did two donuts and sped away wrecklessly. One, i did neither, two, the owner wasn't the one that called in the complaint, it was someone that worked there, third, the officer saw none of these events take place. I was informed the officer must witness a misdeamnor offence to ticket. Is this true? Can I get out of this?

The prosecution must prove its case and needs a witness to do that. The cop is not the only possible witness.
