I was driving with a friend on motorcycles through town. He had pulled a "wheelie" and we were abruptly pulled over. The officer gave us both tickets for careless driving. While I may have been speeding, I was at no time carelessly driving. The officers justification was called "performance driving". I'm not sure how careless driving affects insurance, nor how the officer was able to say I was carelessly driving.
