Myself and 3 other homeowners have a private drive leading off the main road back to our properties. We own the drive and approx.20 feet to each sde of it.We maintain the road(gravel it when needed). The upkeep can get expensive. A year ago a couple bought land and cleared it up to our drive (knocking some of our trees down I might add) They have conected their property onto our and have been using our drive with heavy dump trucks and other machinary due to him working in concret and heavy construction.
We have went to their home on atleast 3 occasions asking them to not use our drive.
Not listening, they contiued to do so. the 3 owners went in and put up a fence(a very nice wooden privacy fence to stop them from passing thru onto our property. We have the property lines marked showing that we were well within our boundries. Also finding out they have some of their property(trucks, garbage and concrete piles) piled on our property. 4 days after the fence was put up it has been damaged 2 times, the last time putting a large hole in it.Knocking it so hard it left pieces of wood on one of the drive owners property. No one saw them, but the day the fence was put up they were outside watching and harrasing the workers saying more than once that it would be knocke down. HELP ! WHAT CAN WE DO????????

You and your three neighbors should meet with a real estate attorney near you. He or she can help you with the issues of your property being used against your will, the fence being destroyed, etc., etc. You can find one at attorneypages
