I was on the Express Lane and the exit I needed wasn't available to cars driving on the Express. I paniced because I don't know were the Express Lane ends up(I don't know Seattle that well)and I took the last exit, which is carpool only! I didn't know what eles to do! Of course there was 4 cops waiting for people like me. I want to get the ticket dismissed-any chance? Thank you

On the back of the ticket you have 2 options for "fighting" it. 1) say you didn't break any laws 2) admit your conduct was illegal but there were extenuating circunstances which justify a reduced penalty/offense.

Your only option is #2. Dress like a suburban housewife, pray for an older male judge, and be very contrite. Boy am I cynical about Washiongton's result-oriented judges!

You may get lucky and the cop won't show to prove the ticket.
