What is the name of your state? CT

I received a speeding citation in MA, but I have a CT driver's license and license plates. The trooper filled out the citation indicating my correct home address, but incorrectly indicating that my vehicle is registered in MA. Is this a basis on which I can avoid paying?

No. It's not part of the elements of the offense.

Thanks for your response. A couple of follow-up questions:

1. The citation has the state of my driver's license correct, but the state of my vehicle registration wrong. Is it possible that my insurance won't be affected?

2. The trooper checked LIDAR -- what is this?

3. The trooper also checked that my speed was estimated. I assume this is a basis on which to challenge the ticket. What's the best approach?

Thanks for your help.
