Recently my parked car was tapped on the bumber while i was in store, my dad was with me and he went out and talked to the girl, they agreed everything was fine and no cops needed to be called. well i guess girl changed her mind and i got 2 tickets in the mail 1 for failure to report accident and 1 for leaving scene. tried to call the officer several times but he was out for a while finally got ahold of him and i explained and he said he would talk to court clerk to dismiss tickets. can cops do this and what is usually the courts respone for dismissal request from officer.
