What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

I recieved a ticket yesterday doing 60 in a 45 mph zone. The officer didn't have me sign the ticket, he just wrote "issued" on the signature box. He also didn't explain the ticket to me. Will this cause the ticket to be dismissed in court?

Thanks

No.

The offender's signature is simply an acknowledgement of receipt, and is not required by law. Truth be told, I have no idea why some officers do this. The signature line is there, why not have the driver sign it?

As far as explaining the ticket, he is under no obligation to do so. Your rights and responsibilities are explained in detail on the back of the copy your received.
