In Maryland, I recently received a citation for failure to provide registration upon demand (the glove compartment jammed) and a warning for speeding. The fine for failure to provide the registration is $30 and it would be much easier for me to pay this fine than appear in traffic court even as a MD resident, so what I'd like to know is, in Maryland, are any points assessed if one pleads guilty to this offense and pays the fine?

My response:

Wouldn't it be easier to just simply call your States' Department of Motor Vehicles?
