Does anyone know what the rules are for someone deannexing their property from a city? At a city meeting there was Water Line on the agenda, this person asked about getting a water line put to his property which has no building on it. The council said no and the next thing he asked for the property to be deannexed and the council voted yes. I thought you had to put something like this in the paper for 30 days and have a special meeting. Does anyone know anything about this?
