I don't know how true this is at all, but I thought I'd ask.

My Mother Has been divorced twice and used the same lawyer for both. Now my Ex wife is using the smae guy against me. Several people have mentioned that they don't think that is legal for him to do. Does anyone know one way or another if there are any conflict of interest laws like I've been told there might be?

It depends. Are you in a one horse town with one lawyer who doubles as the night bartender at the Dew Drop Inn?

It may be considered unethical, but not illegal. But then..."ethical" and "lawyer" don't always fit in the same sentence.
