What is the name of your state?lousiana
my wife is cheating on me and i just found out, we are not seperated but i am going to file for divorce. will the fact that she is commiting adultery have any affect on the division of community property and spousal support? she hasnt worked in 5 years.

I don't think it's going to affect the property division, but it could very well affect alimony. In Lousiana, adultry is grounds for divorce, so sue on those grounds. You need proof though, so make sure you get it before you file.
