What is the name of your state?pensacola,fla.
when i married this man i lived in fla. he went to jail on drug charges, they gave him a life sentence in federal prison, and i moved to memphis,tn i have 3 boys by this man, i can't at this time afford the fees, but i made some calls and i am hearing that in some states if he has all that time then the marriage will resolve itself but that does not sound right is this true? now that i live in memphis do i need to find a lawyer in tn or in fla.? which would be cheaper?

You also don't have to have an attorney to file for divorce. If he is in prison for life then you should be able to divorce him on your own.
