What is the name of your state?[What is the name of your state? Florida
I was divorced several years ago, have a home in my name with substantial equity. I have a good retirement account and a bank account. I have 3 grown children that I want to inherit my assets upon my death. I have met a man with no children, and no assets. We cohabitate and have discussed marriage. In the state of Florida how do I ascertain that my premarital assets remain mine to bequeth to whom I choose. After marriage he will contribute to the asset of the home and therefore entitled to a portion, but how do I make sure my premarital equity remains mine?

A prenuptual agreement is probably the appropriate way to handle that....as well as a solid will.
