What is the name of your state?NY

I am one of the defendants in the tort case. The other defendant, a large corporation, had been trying to get plaintiff to respond to Combined Demands and Bill of Particulars. Plaitiff didn't answer the original demand. Neither did he answer the follow up letter 2 months later. The other defendant is filing motion to preclude the plaintiff from disclosing any evidence at the trial becuase he failed to anwser to any demands.

Is it a normal practice for plaintiff to ignore Combined Demands and Bill Of Particulars?

What happens if judge grants that motion, case is over?

Thanks
