What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Louisiana- Employed by Roofing manufacturer
for 39 years. Exposed to chemicals and asbestos for at least 30 years. Left employment in 1995. Currently diagnosed with "fibers" in the lungs and further tests are pending. Symptoms include shortness of breath, persistent cough, chest pain and must sleep in an upright position. NEVER a smoker!
Question: Would it be to any advantage to file a suit for the damage that asbestos has caused? Or- are these suits usually within a class action suit?
Breathing capacity (last test) revealed to be 50% less than normal!

Currently living in Georgia, however, 39 year employment was in Louisiana, with major roofing manufacturer.

You are currently undergoing testing to confirm diagnosis of asbestosis, so there is no lawsuit you can file yet b/c you do not have a diagnosis.
