Hi,
I live in a rented apartment in a gated community in houston, texas. Recently, I was out of town for business and when I came back, I found that somebody had fired a bullet at my car. The bullet broke the windshield and was visible near the gear shift.
My question is if the apartment is liable for the damage or not?

Please help!!

**A: why would the apartment be liable? And what does your post have to so with real estate law?
