What is the name of your state?MI
Two sister's were willed a house. One sister passed away last year, legally (willed) left ALL of her assets to her surviving husband. Living sister attempting to sell home without permission of deceased sister's husband. Also claiming that house is now hers-including monies of sale since her sister is deceased. Deed reflects both sister's names. Deed has not been changed to include deceased sister's husbands name. Can she legally sell this property without consent of deceased sister's husband and pocket money involved?

How did the deed to the property read? Did it say, "Sister One and Sister Two, joint tenants with rights of survivorship", or what?

Deed says both sisters names. Remainder of deed in regard to survivorship--not sure what it says.

**A: why don't you know? Don't you have a copy of the deed?
