I had a recent worker's comp claim for injury to my hip joint when lifting a heavy object. Medical bills were paid for; however, my visits to doctors and my physical therapy time away from work were deducted from my vacation and sick leave....leaving me none left. I thought time off was covered but the insurance company is claiming that since I had a similar (not the same) injury before it was considered a pre-existing condition. I don't see what that has to do with this injury and pay for time off related to the injury. Any clues? Thanks
