What is the name of your state?Missouri

I recently strained a muscle in my lower back, while at work. While at the doctors office he took a few xrays to make sure that there was not a fracture. What he found was a colasped vertabre. This may require cortazone shots or surgery to correct the problem. The doctor said that the incident that casued the strain would not have been the sole cause for the vertabre problem. I'm a desk jockey for the most part now but a year or two back I was lifting heavy equipment on a continual basis. Would the vertabre problem be something that should be covered by Workman's Compensation?
