A coworker, about a year ago, was diagnosed with diabetes and recently was diagnosed with high blood pressure. He has a very high stress job. He is afraid his boss will tell him, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Could it be proved that stress on the job causes the health problems? Does he have any recourse if his bosses tell him tough? On a side note, he is overweight which can cause some of the health problems. What happens if he can't work that same job anymore or work any job?
