When arriving at our rented vacation home I fell right through the rotten stairs leading into the home. Cut open my leg, spend rest of day in ER getting 15 stitches (this all on my daughters first birthday). Vacation ruined, no swimming and due to anti-biotics no alcohol/sunshine, what else do you do in Florida? Left with 6 inch scar.
How much to claim, next to medical & trip costs, anything for pain/suffering etc., (dealing with the homes insurance company who are not disputing liability)?
