What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Iowa
My daughter is renting an apartment. Her name is the only name on the lease and all utilities. Her boyfriend has been living with her for 6 months. Things have not worked out and she has asked him to leave. He refuses stating that since he has established residency, she cannot make him leave. What options does she have? This is very uncomfortable for her and he is ruining the apartment.

**A: guess what? The day she let him move in was the day she became his landlord. Now she needs to read the Iowa L/T law and follow the procedure to terminate a m/m tenant. Hint: she must give proper written notice.
