My wife start up a small business as house cleaning with 2 independent contractors workers. One of them slip and fail while cleaning the stair. The other co-worker called my wife to notified the happen. We don't have WC insurance. On that date my wife offer her to go to the doctor then we will pay the bill, but she denied and said that she will use her husband's heath insurance to visit the doctor. Now she claim with state WC. What should I do, do we need to hire an attorney? What should we search for the firm?
