some one stated that i put $3000 long distance charges in her name. no social security number or anything like that was used,(that's what she said mci told her-she stated it was all done over the internet). would that be considered a felony or a misdomenor. Im in the state of mississippi if that would help

Depends on the exact charge you are being charged with by the District Attorney/State.

Of course, you know, this felony versus misdemeanor doesn't apply when you are sued civilly.

But if you are being criminally charged, in your state, this probably will fall under a felony: lots of money, telecommunications, fraud, theft, white collar crime
