What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NORTH CAROLINA

My daughter (minor) inherited property along with 9 other adults. The other adults are wanting to sell. In order for my daughter to sell, I was told she would need a guardian ad litem. This involves 2 counties, 1 in which she lives and the other where property is. This is an expensive situation for my daughter, I was advised it would cost 3k to 3.5k for this paperwork. I asked the other adults to split this up. Some abruptly stated NO, but they did mention splitting my daughters share out (which would cost them). Can this be done? And what steps would I need to do to get appointed guardian ad litem? Is this possible??? I only want the best for my daughter and whats fair!
