What is the name of your state? New Mexico

My husband was injured chasing a suspect. He had to have knee surgery. He has returned to light duty. We do not know anything about the settlement process and do not want to get taken advantage of. Any information would be appreciated.

**A: is he in the union? The settlement process/procedure should have been provided by his employer. He can request a copy.
