I recently purchased some jewelry for $12,000.00. Half way through payments I realized the stores policy is all sales final and returns will only be offered store credit. The item was returned in 2 days, is there any way to obtain a refund? Can stores legally keep $12,000.00 and only offer store credit?

Stores do not have to offer refunds or store credits at all. Many retailers, Burlington Coat Factory is probably the biggest, does not offer refunds or store credits, they offer nothing but exchanges and will discount the value of the return too. Refunds, exchanges, store credit, etc. is all about the policy of the retailer, there are no laws except for defective or damaged merchandise.
