What is the name of your state? Louisiana

I was a little behind on my car note and we had made arrangements to make a $200.00 payment and then $100.00 per week there after. Well i live in Louisiana and although I was not physically affected by Hurricane Katrina, my main office where I get my check from was. Therefore, i did not recieve a check. When I finally did recieve it, I sent off a $200.00 money order to make up for the previous week that I had missed plus the weekly payment. They accepted the payment but still are sending repo men to pick up my vehicle. What are my rights? Should they have accepted the payment?

Read your loan agreement, it will spell out the conditions that can cause a repossession. Legally, your vehicle can be repossessed at anytime if you are not current on the payments.
