I have checked DFAS regulations but cannot find a satisfactory answer.
When does a separation payment have to be made. Is it by the last day of employment ( in this case military service ) or by the next pay date? DFAS does not seem to have a regulation on WHEN the payments must be made, just that they must be made in a timely manner.
