What is the name of your state? TEXAS
I posted this under real estate but no one's answering so I'll try under here...
Short: How can one collect on a judgement? Can't a lawyer help with wage garnishment, tax refund intercepts, dead husband life insurance intercepts, leins, jail, or someother form? I heard TX is the state for dead beats.
Details: Tenant owes 1550 in rent, served eviction notice 4 days ago, filing eviction tommorrow. Do I have to wait for her to be out before I can start a small claims suit or can I get it going now? After winning a judgement, then what? I was sent information on making a home business by collecting judgments for people (and retaining half of whats collected). I never did anything with, but the info made it seem like there were definately ways to get monies owed. THanks!
