What is the name of your state? Arkansas

If an employee should be off with work comp benefits being paid for an extended time and no date in sight of when he or she might be able to return to work, is a company required to continue paying benefits to/for that employee? The employer portion of employee's health insurance premium is one example. I would imagine that pension benefits like 401K that are driven by the employee's contribution would be excluded under WC provisions, but benefits that are set out by company policy and are a blanket for all full-time, regular employees are in question here.

If a company is required to continue paying benefits, is there a time limit?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Every state is different, but in most cases no they are not responsible to pay your medical insurance.. Your employer should give you a paper or a number to call your insurance and you will pay it monthly..
