I gave a deposit (around $360) towards a trip to Mexico for a photo shoot competition held by a major swimwear company. Several weeks later, they took the balance ($300) from my account. I then had to cancel the trip, understanding that I would lose the deposit, which is stated on their website. I have since emailed the Founder/CEO of the company several times and finally got a reply saying that I can't get the money back but he would apply it to next year's trip. I want a least the balance of $300 back. Help!
